DeKalb County Health Department can help with free healthcare assistance enrolling in Marketplace Insurance, Medicaid, and All Kids Insurance.

DeKalb County Health Department Navigators may be able to offer free assistance if you qualify for one of these programs. The Healthcare Enrollment Assistance Program-Navigators are supported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CM) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $158,005.00 annually with 100% funded by CMS/HHS. What do I need for an appointment?

In order to provide you with the best service possible, bring the following documents to your appointment:

  • Current proof of address
  • Current proof of income (pay stubs, unemployment paperwork, W-2 forms, etc.)
  • Photo I.D.
  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of Citizenship
  • Any other documents requested during time of appointment.

Open Enrollment Key Dates to Remember

October 15-31
If you previously have had Marketplace Insurance, look for your renewal notice and verification documents in the mail.

November-January 15
Open enrollment will be open for coverage.
