The program investigates public health nuisances in unincorporated areas of the county. Investigations may be related to weeds, improper storage and disposal of garbage, and pest control (rodent & mosquito).
Complaints regarding public health issues are investigated on a priority basis. If we cannot help you, we will refer you to other resources.
The inspector investigates complaints when contact information (name and phone number) is provided. Complainant information will not be released to others unless required by law in court action. A complainant may call to confirm the status of an investigation.
The program enforces applicable local and state laws pertaining to nuisances.
